This is a quote from Accident, which is a book by Danielle Steel. The title almost gives away what happens in the rest of the book, but a person doesn’t know all the details or what happened. Accident is a good book for anyone to read because it could relate to anyone. It has very sad parts, but a lot of shocking and interesting parts too.
The book has many different interesting events that happened. In the beginning of the book, the family all gets along great. Brad and Page have a good relationship with each other and with the rest of the family. Allyson is 15 years old and is starting to hang out with the guys. A reality is hit when a shocking incident occurs, making the family fall apart. Page finds out a secret that Brad has been holding for eight months. There are many details left out in this little summary, and to find them out, you’ll just have to read the book.
Page Clark is one of the main characters. She is a very strong woman with good ethics and morals. When Brad cheats on her and leaves her, she has to stay strong and keep going. There are many things going on in her life after the accident occurs. Page has to put up with a lot of stress and lives on no sleep. Yet she toughens through all this and keeps going. She knows what’s right and wrong for her family and herself. Page makes all these decisions and they’re always for the best.
She’s a great mother because she loves her children no matter what happens. Even though their family gets split apart and there are other hardships, she still loves her children just the same and gives them the attention that they need. Her children love her just the same back because of the love that she has shown. This shows that a family can still be pulled together throughout hard times.
There were a few different themes found in this book. One was true love. It was shown from the love between many different people. Page and her family all proved that they were all they had, and stuck together no matter what. Another theme was to not give up. There were many times when the Clark family all had chance to give up. All of them had been through rough times, and there were many times that one of them could’ve given up. But, they toughened out and they never did give up. Without giving up, there were good outcomes. This shows that even if you’re having a tough time, hang in there and keep going.
This book is kind of unique. It is like the rest of Danielle Steel’s books, but it has a different plot. Accident is a great book for all readers. It keeps you interested from the start. Some books are boring and it’s hard to keep reading them for this. However, with this book, you just want to keep reading. There are parts that are suspenseful, and others that are romantic and funny. This book makes you realize that love within your family and relationships are important.
