Jack Grammar never did really anything in his life. It was senior year and he had 2 best friends and thought that’s all he would ever need. Natalie and Percy knew he needed to part from his old ways and learn to be a social butterfly. After posting the ad, Jack goes on 24 speed dates in 7 days on a voyage of self-discovery, love but most important, a prom date.
Jack is your average high school nerd. He always got straight A’s and never turned in assignments in late, but once it came to girls, he failed miserably. Natalie was one of Jacks best friend. She always called him in the middle of the night, hung out on the weekends, and talked about anything and everything. The only problem was that she had a boyfriend and who ever heard of dating your best friend of ten years?
By reading this book you learn that being in your comfort zone all the time isn’t always good for you. You have to learn to be able to push your self to do things you probably wouldn’t ever want to do. Yes you will fall and get hurt sometimes, but that’s just part of learning to get up and shaking it off.
I would recommend this book to 8th grade girls and above. It’s a funny, romantic, heart throb book about love, going outside of your comfort zone and learning to go with what your heart says.
