The stone turns out to be a dragon egg and suddenly the weight of the world is put on your shoulders.

This story follows Eragon, a simple country boy who finds a dragon egg in the woods. The egg hatched and suddenly he is the only “Rider” (dragon rider) on the planet. Eragon travels across the land with a legendary warrior named Brom who teaches him how to defend himself in a battle and the basics of being a rider. After Brom dies, Eragon goes on to the Varden. That is where the first book ends, and the second book begins.

After the ruler of the Varden, King Ajihad, is murdered, his daughter Nasuada is elected to take his place as Ruler of the Varden. Nasuada orders Eragon to leave the Varden so that he can continue his training with the elves. The elves will train him to fight as a warrior and improve himself as a rider.

The main objective of the Varden is to overthrow king Galbatorix, who is a cruel and terrible leader. Eragon’s job is to defeat Galbatorix and steal the remaining dragon eggs. There are only two dragon eggs remaining in the world, not counting Eragon’s dragon Saphira, and they are in king Galbatorix’s possession. in the world, not counting Eragon’s dragon Saphira, and they are in king Galbatorix’s possession.

In conclusion, this book is an amazing tale of mystery and adventure and would be great for anybody who is interested in mythical stories, or anyone who has read the first book.
