Picture this, you are hang out with your friends like usual and then you find out you have one day left to live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The main character was Ted Burger but people called him Burger a lot of the time. Every day after school Ted and his two friends, Mark and Nikki, would go to the Eat Circle Diner and they would get a burger and fries. Ted would eat the fries and Mark would eat the burger. One day the fry cook went crazy. He had what appeared to be a gun in his pocket. It was in fact a concealed weapon. He planned to stick-up Mark. Mark, Ted, and the fry cook froze in their places for a while. They knew the cook was going to pull the gun out and shoot Mark. Ted jumped in to the line of fire to save Mark. They found out it was a squirt gun and they all felt dumb.
the group finds out that Ted got poisoned. The poison apparently was from the fry cook’s fries, and Ted only has 24 hours to live.
characters
The characters where Ted who is the main character he has curly hair and is kind of laid back and has always liked his best friend’s girlfriend and he loves to play guitar. There is Mark too that is best friends with Ted and is always with Ted and he is more out going and about having fun. Nikki his best friends girl friend, she has black hair and is kind of like Ted and Mark in different ways.
themes
There are multiple themes to the story the one I like is have fun while you can. The whole book is Ted’s friends tying to get Ted to be a kid and have fun for once and to do something with what time he has left. Near the end of the story Ted gets to play at a concert with shakes the clown, his favorite band.

In the story my favorite quote was, “The best notes are always written on a napkin”. I think it’s funny and true in ways. When you are in a hurry to write something, you might only have a napkin to write it on. If you don’t write it down right at that moment then you might forget it.
comparison
I can’t really compare this story to any other that I know of. It was unique in its own way especially in the events that take place in the story. I would definitely recommend this story to anyone that loves to read and even people that don’t love to read. In the end of the story you find out he just had a panic attack and he did not die but it makes you feel that he is going to die though ought the story.
