Percy was kicked out of many schools; he lives with his mom Sally and step-father Gabe. He had only one friend ,Grover, until a monster atacked him and he went to Camp Half-Blood. There he met Annnabeth who is the daughter of Athena Goddess of wisdem and batle straderge. The three of them were sent on a quest to find and bring back Zeus's master lightning bolt to Mount Olympus; in the ten days they have till Percy would be killed.
The mian character is Percy Jackson who is the Son of Poseidon. Percy is a very careing person he would give his live to save the ones he loves. Annabeth is very smart; she thinks every thing through before doing it.
I learned that true friends will give there live for you and that no matter how mad you get at them they will always be there.
THis book connected to my life right away. I would do anything for my friends and family to keep them safe. This book was even made into a movie but I still like the book better.
